One of the projects that Crossroads supports is Kids Up Equine Therapy. Kids Up is looking for volunteers as they begin their third year at CAM Colonia 8 de Octubre here in La Paz. Morning sessions start on Wednesday, Nov. 6 and afternoon sessions on Thursday Nov. 7. They will be working with 27 kindergarden children, all of whom are disabled.

Hours are Wednesdays from 8:30 am to noon, and Thursdays from 3:00 to 6:00 pm. They also need volunteers on Saturday mornings from 10 am to noon. Contact Susu Sanders at 612-149-1832. You don't need to speak Spanish or know anything about horses to volunteer. Just bring yoruself and a positive attitude!
