Have you ever thought about the purpose of prayer? For some, it seems as though prayer is nothing more than a cosmic honey-do list we send up to God to get what we think we need. The purpose of prayer is to glorify God and to have communion with Him. Our text this morning drives that point home. Biblical prayer is relevant today because it recognizes God as the Creator and sustainer of everything and it also indicates our greatest need; to be filled with the Holy Spirit so we can boldly proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ. Thank you for listening and God bless you. - Peter
