Have you ever been distracted? Over the last few sermons we have seen how the book of Acts not only teaches us about the Holy Spirit, but also instructs us to be aware of the attacks of the enemy. As we have seen, he has attacked from outside the church - physical violence; he has attacked from inside the church - moral corruption; and now we find him using distraction to hinder devotion. Of Satan’s attacks against the first-century church, I believe this third weapon was the cleverest. Please join us as we strive to minimize the distractions in the Christian life so we can live a life of increasing devotion. - Peter
