Every healthy community needs volunteers to help run things smoothly and we are no exception. We have opportunities for skilled and unskilled members to contribute. All you need is a good attitude! Please browse through the various areas and contact the person responsible or our volunteer coordinator to make a connection. We need you!

Sunday Morning Chair Setup
On the majority of Sundays Milton sets up the chairs early and does not need assistance. If you would like to be a backup in his absence please contact Milton.

Sunday Morning Coffee Service
Volunteers Needed! Duties include coffee & tea setup, monitoring usage and counter cleanup at the end of the service. Must arrive by 8:40 AM on Sundays.

Greeters
Because of the ebb and flow of visitors it is important to make people feel welcomed. If you are a regular attender of Crossroads and would like to be a part of the Greeting team, or even the team leader, please contact Melissa Gomez. Volunteers need to arrive by 8:45 am on Sundays.

Sunday Morning Projectionist
Volunteers needed to run the laptop and projector on Sunday mornings. Volunteers should be familiar with Windows & computer basics. Training on Media Shout software provided. Primary responsibility would be running the presentations that are already compiled. This position works closely with the Worship Team. Must show up by 8:45 am.

Weekly Newsletter
This position involves producing the weekly newsletter with all praise and prayer requests that are shared on Sunday mornings or via email or WhatsApp and distributing them using MailChimp. Currently filled by Alyson. If you are interested in filling in during her absence please contact her.

Digital Content Manager
This position involves the updating and creation of content for the church’s website and facebook page or any other digital media distribution. Currently filled by Lin Kreisz.

Communion Set-Up
Position involves the layout of the bread (wafers, crackers, etc) and filling up of disposable juice cups in trays the first Sunday of the month. Trays then need to be washed and put away. This position is currently filled by Alejandra. If you would like to volunteer as a fill-in please contact her.

Christian Education
Kids Sunday School is looking for volunteers to supervise and lead the children during the sermon. Supplies and lessons provided. Contact: Carolina Agruel 612-139-0265
Ladies Bible Study & Freedom Session: Both programs run throughout the year. Occasional need for a substitute leader for the Thursday study. Freedom Session facilitators are recruited from previous grads. Contact: Lin Kreisz 612-198-3917

Church Decorating
This is a new ministry that is seeking volunteers. The decorating team comes together to decorate seasonally, for holidays and potentially decorate for other events as well. Also responsible for the organization and storage of supplies in-house.

Community Outreach
As needs and opportunities arise, volunteer support is recruited for various projects. This has included feeding, clothing and water projects for communities on the outskirts of La Paz that lack access to resources. One of the longer running outreach ministries involved visitation, education and group mentoring at Casa Cuna, a group home for children. CURRENTLY SEEKING a bilingual individual that is willing to coordinate agenda, time and activities.

In-Home & Hospital Visitation
This occurs informally as needs arise. Typically requests for support come through church announcements, messaging in the Crossroads Ladies WhatsApp group, or through the Member Services ministry. If you are interested in volunteering for these, please contact Melissa Gomez +1 503-851-4145.
Kitchen & Pantry Supplies
This position is responsible for ordering coffee, kitchen and restroom supplies. Currently filled by Lili. If you notice something missing, or would like to donate something, please reach out to Lili.

Member Services Coordinator
This position collaborates with the other ministry leaders to seek volunteers for the various internal services or functions of Crossroads. Currently filled by Melissa. If you have questions about volunteering contact her.

Social Activities
Interested volunteers will help plan and facilitate social activities. Currently supervised by Nahla. There will be volunteer opportunities for each activity in a given month. Current ideas include a monthly game night, a book club, charity fundraising garage/bake sale, monthly birthday celebration, and a monthly ladies gathering.

Twice a Year Deep Cleaning
This group is responsible for tackling deep cleaning of the kitchen, pantry area & restrooms as well as cleaning the chairs and reorganizing/decluttering of other areas. We need a minimum of 5 women for this to be successful. Melissa is the coordinator and works with Milton to coordinate and ensure the facility is fully available, cleaning supplies ready and volunteers welcomed and given any necessary instruction.

Kids Up/ Niños Arriba Equine Therapy
We use horses to minister to people who have a disability such as cerebral palsy, autism, blindness, processing disorder, anxiety, ptsd. We work with 2 kindergarten/ elementary schools for children with disabilities. We take our horses to the school Wednesday from 9 AM to 12, and Thursday from 3 PM to 6. Saturday from 10 AM to 12 we are at the Kids Up corral. We always need volunteers. You do not need to speak Spanish or have experiences with horses. We need people who are patient, encouraging and who don't mind walking.
