Kid's Up Equine Therapy

Equine therapy is a therapeutic alternative that takes advantage of the movement of the horse to facilitate in the process of physical and emotional rehabilitation.
Kid's Up is a non-profit entity, where everyone has a place, without distinction of racial, political, religious or current of thought.
The therapy is aimed primarily at children or adults with disabilities, including all sectors of the population regardless of their economic and social condition in order to benefit and reach those who need it most.

Several Crossroads members and others volunteer at the weekly sessions by guiding children through the exercises and assisting with the transport or care of the horses. You don't need to speak Spanish or know anything about horses. Just show up with a good attitude and you will make a difference!

Led by longtime member of Crossroads Christian Fellowship, Ale Rojano, Internal Solutions serves the community by training teachers, workers and parents, reinforcing values and identity to pursue their dreams. 

mama benita's

Mamá Benita and her family have been offering a safe haven to children and adults for many years here in La Paz, BCS. It serves as an orphanage, a refuge from violence for women and children, and a place to call home for seniors who have no family to care for them. It is often the place that fills in the cracks where government agencies cannot. Crossroads supports this ministry as often as called upon with some members volunteering in the kitchen or raising support in the greater community.
